Night Life is held on Wednesdays throughout the semester. They usually commence around 9pm and run until 11:30 or so.
What it is, is a chance to hang out with fellow students during a planned activity sponsored by the student senate. Anyone can come, it is not restricted to anyone, and people can even bring friends from other schools to participate. For some people, it is the highlight of the school week and a chance to relax and forget about the stress of school and focus on the enjoyment of school. Last week, the student senate sponsored an off-campus event at the Rollaire Skate Rink here in Manty. From what I heard from people who attended, it was a giant success! Entrance and skate rental were free and each person could receive one free soda from the stand.
Tonight is an on-campus night life (or life night) where students can go out and play in the snow, build snowmen, go sledding in the neighboring Silver Creek Park and come back in to the building to warm Chili! (or you can stay inside all night and play pool, pingpong or watch a movie or play a game!) Once again, these events are FREE and a great way to meet fellow students and de-stress! It is not required that you stay the whole time, people are free to come and go as they please.
One thing is for sure, we have got some great ones planned for the rest of the semester! (bowling, plant-a-thon, etc!)
So show up and experience a good time!
